We developed the canopy design for Central Gas Station, prioritizing glass curtain walls and ACM cladding across the entire length of the building. This choice highlights both the structure and the convenience store while giving the space a sense of openness. The strategic use of material also provides privacy in the office areas, balancing aesthetics and functionality for a visually striking, efficient result.
With the canopy design defined, Petrol DESIGN was challenged to create a visual identity using yellow, blue, and gray/silver. The goal was to make the canopy appear to have fewer faces, achieving a lighter, more fluid look. We used these tones strategically, balancing color intensity and creating smooth transitions that convey lightness and continuity. This approach respects the architectural concept while reinforcing the visual identity in a modern, impactful way.
At the client’s request, we simplified the project to reduce costs. Those savings were redirected to other strategic areas, such as the canopy lighting, which was enhanced to increase nighttime visibility. We also invested in a tall, robust totem that signals the services offered and highlights great prices, ensuring greater appeal and visibility for customers. This let us optimize the project without compromising visual impact or functionality.
With the visual project approved, we completed development by delivering the design specification document. It contains all necessary information, including measurements, detailed views, and the full specification of materials, colors, textures, and lighting solutions, providing a solid foundation for execution and implementation of a complete gas station design and visual identity.
